This display has garnered many positive comments and helped bring in new guests for our recent meetings. Many of the items came from the Toastmaster’s Website: awards, magazines, posters and the central focus point, the large banner.   The backdrop, magazine easels, confetti, New Year’s horns and the stars were purchased at the best place for creating an inexpensive display project, Dollar Tree.  The elegant looking blackboard, which is plastic with a textured finish for chalk notes, was purchased in the marked-down area at Menards!  The hand lettering in chalk on the blackboard, and in the stars give a personalized look to the New Year’s Theme-A New Year, A New You!  Toastacular!
